Multi-stage Booking Form
This was a project to split the booking form into four stages, with the aim to optimising the booking form.
This project was triggered by a competitor analysis I did. I brought this concept up to solve the issue of a long booking form.
Background
How it began
The project started with one aim, shortening the booking form. My first ideas included shorten the legal text, and placing the relevant text field into one line. These ideas, however, did not help shortening the mobile booking form.
Then
With the thought of mobile first, I completed a competitor analysis. I realised a few competitors split the booking form into a few stages. That helped creating a feeling that the form was not long. I prototyped and presented this concept on our booking form.
Objective
The team decided to logically split the booking form. A sorting card test was done to actualise the concept. I designed and prototyped the multi-stage booking form.
